Genealogy of a Rhythm is my Masters thesis at Interactive Telecommunications Program at NYU in 2018. It is a multi-medium approach to documenting and sharing anthropological data about Afro-Uruguayan music and dance. I used audio samples, 2D film, 360 video, motion capturing, and fabrication methods such as a CNC machine, code, open source data platforms such as Github and museum exhibit design to tell this story. Below is my thesis presentation.
